We envision in the next 15 to 20 years, most/all young women in Liberia will acquire quality education and become a role model to other young women and school going girls. We also envision young girls and women being empower and standing out for themselves to help the society .With this vision being met, it is our hope that Liberia becomes a better place to live.

ABOUT US

What We Can Offer

This organization is mainly focus on formal and informal Education for young women and school going girls. It provides financial aid for struggling adolescent girls, mentorship and mental classes and women empowerment for adolescent girls. GEL is also concern about getting less privilege girls back to school and also providing them with the necessary life skill training that will empower them to make impact in the society and becomes independent.

GEL believes in the 17 sustainable Development goals most especially goal (4) which emphasized on quality education, goal (5) which focuses on Gender Equality, goal (10) which talks about reduced inequalities and goal (17) which talks about partnerships for the goals.

Our Aims and Objectives

To increase institutional performances by enhancing the capacity of staff and board through promotion of fundraising, participation, training, and career development.
To contribute to strengthening girls’ education in hygiene (Menstrual Hygiene) service delivery through community engagement mentoring, partnership building and service provision target in and out of schoolgirls through application of behavior change communication, human rights-based approach and life skills training.
To Educate and Empower less privilege girls and young women while mentoring them on the how importance and valuable they are in society.

To advocate for the rights of girls in and out of schools, living under the influence of substance abuse, those living with HIV, those with disabilities, rape victims to have access to comprehensive and quality hygiene care, treatment and support.
To organize life skill activities for girls that are in school and out of school throughout Liberia regardless of their gender, race, religion, sex through camping, workshops, campaigns, seminars conferences, peer education, performing acts, community outreaches, dialogues advocate, sports, among others.
To promote and provide sustainable community development programs and initiatives, to provide Psychosocial counselling to all girls without discrimination based on age, race, sex, gender, economic status and religion.
